Brian Beaulieu

One of the country’s most informed economists, Brian Beaulieu has been an economist with the Institute for Trend Research since 1982, serving as a principal and its CEO since 1987. At the Institute, his focus is research into using business cycle analysis and forecasts to increase business profits.

He is co-author of “Make Your Move”, a great book on how to increase profits through business cycle changes. Since September 2010, Brian has been a cohost along with his brother Alan of Make Your Move, a business radio talk show heard Monday afternoons on the VoiceAmerica™ and World Talk Radio™ networks.

Brian is a principal and Managing Partner of ITR Capital Partners and is an active member of its Investment Committee.

Brian is also the Chief Economist for Vistage International, a global organization of CEOs comprising over 14,500 members.

Through Vistage and it’s affiliate organization TEC Canada, Brian has been providing workshops and economic analysis seminars across the North America to literally thousands of business owners and executives for the last 28 years. During that period he has also consulted with companies who need a domestic and global perspective on how to forecast, plan, and increase their profits based on business cycle trend analysis.

Brian’s views have appeared in/on: the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Barron’s, USA Today, CNBC TV, FOX Business TV, Knight Ridder News Services, Reuters, CBS Radio, The Washington Times, Forbes, Atlanta Journal Constitution, KERA TV, Canadian TV, and numerous other outlets. He is a regular columnist and contributing economist to national trade associations and publications.
