Meet Bruce
Working with Bruce reminds of me of an old story. You see there was this guy walking along when he fell down a deep hole. The walls were so steep, he couldn’t climb out. A doctor walks by and the stranded fellow yells up, “hey can you help me out?” The doctor writes out a prescription, throws it down the hole and moves on. Finally a friend walks by. The guy yells, “Hey Joe, I’m stuck in this hole, can you help me out?” The friend jumps down in the hole. The guy exclaims, “Are you stupid, now we’re both stuck down here.” To which the friend replies, “Yeah, but I’ve been down here before and I know the way out.”
That’s Bruce. He’s a friend that knows the way out. And he knows it with good reason. For over two decades, Bruce has made a career of charting the course of successful businesses. As VP of Marketing, he led Kraft Canada’s $1.5 billion of retail brands to sustained double-digit growth and was instrumental in Kraft winning Marketer of the Year. As General Manager, Bruce tripled the margin and doubled profitability of an under-performing $400 million business. He has led over $2 billion in acquisitions, divestitures and business integrations and advised over 100 companies on how to better achieve their goals.
Today, author and well credentialed business advisor, Bruce brings his sage advice, highly practical, executable approach and contagious laugh to business leaders across the country in search of a fresh point of view and workable plans. Both as President of his own company, Lighthouse 360, and as a T.E.C. (The Executive Committee) Chair, Bruce works with C-level executives in the pursuit of accelerated growth. In contrast to many who play advisory roles, Bruce doesn’t concentrate on what looks good on paper, but rather drives plans that look good on the bottom line. He believes theory is fine, but theory without results is unacceptable. Anchored by his seasoned experience, his hit the road running philosophy, Bruce helps business leaders unlock the customer, competitive and operational insights critical, now more than ever, to professional and personal success.
