Doug Bouey

Over the past 24 years, countless TEC members have benefitted from Doug Bouey’s insight and experience in his role as a TEC Chair. He excels at introducing senior executives to new avenues of business potential. By assisting them in setting priorities and leveraging time effectively, Doug helps leaders reach extraordinary new levels of accomplishment. His effectiveness has been rewarded with Chair Excellence honors on nine occasions at the annual TEC Chair Conference. In 2009, Doug received the Cope Award as the world wide Chair of the Year, an honour that has gone to only 29 Chairs out of over 650 across the globe.

Doug has extended his forum to larger scale organizations. Building on existing successes, he is now focused on executive development, creating high impact value through communication, building corporate culture, and expanding strategic thinking. His personal depth enhances his offering. Doug also facilitates strategic planning and alignment processes in many arenas.

In his previous career, Doug was a partner in a commercial and native law practice with a midsize Calgary firm. He was lawyer in residence for a term at the University of Calgary Law School and taught interviewing, negotiating and counseling for many years on the faculty.

Doug holds an MA in Organization Development from the Fielding Institute and is affiliated with Implementation Management Associates, a master life coach of the Hudson Institute, and a Conversant graduate.
