Gary Burge
For 25 years Dr. Gary “Buddy” Burge has been helping leaders solve the intractable people problems - team issues, turf wars, personality conflicts, fragmented processes - that seem to afflict so many modern-day organizations.
He coaches and advises up to 25 CEOs per month on this one issue. He is really good at the people thing. He better be. It is the only thing he does. In fact, he has developed and authored over twenty books and training programs on this salient and singular concern, how CEOs can learn to facilitate and resolve people issues .
His latest book, based on his doctoral research and experience as a communications advisor to CEOs - "It Is Easier To Change Other People Than It Is To Change Yourself" Why People Do What They Do (In Your Organization) and What You Can Do About It - will be released later this year.
This is also the title of his latest TEC presentation.
Some of his over 350 satisfied clients include Research in Motion, Nike, Symantec, Magna International, Bell Canada, The Toronto Skydome, SAP Software, The Royal Bank, Northlands Park, and The Eaton Centre.
Since 1970, he has given over 4,000 presentations in North America, Europe and Africa to audiences from 6 up to 5,000 people.
Buddy tailors more than 150 presentations a year to his clients' specific needs, shifting (often shrinking) markets and changing workforce, keep him in constant demand as a keynote speaker, seminar leader and executive coach.
Buddy was trained at York University, The University of Toronto, and The Alfred Adler Institute. He holds a Master's Degree from The Fuller School of Psychology in Pasadena, California and a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the International Graduate School of Business at Berne University.
