Holly Green

As CEO and Managing Director of THE HUMAN FACTOR, Inc. (www.THEHUMANFACTOR.biz), Holly helps business leaders and their companies achieve higher levels of performance and profitability. Her unique approach to consulting - based on the approach Pause, Think, Focus, Run - provides the tools, techniques, and skills companies need to reach their destinations and achieve their strategic goals.

An experienced business leader and behavioral scientist, Holly has a rare combination of extensive academic training and in-the-trenches experience working in and leading organizations. As president of The Ken Blanchard Company, she led the established company in a new and more focused strategic direction. As president of LumMed, she helped launch the startup biotech firm by doing everything from lining up investors to setting the vision and key objectives to structuring the management team. As a consultant, Holly is frequently hired by FORTUNE 100 companies such as AT&T, Dell Computer, Microsoft, Expedia, Nokia, Sperian, and Google to help them compete more effectively in today’s uncertain markets. She helps these companies get clear on what winning looks like, and then shows them how to align the resources and energy of the organization to get there.

Market leaders of all sizes have used Holly’s proprietary process, Inform, Inspire and Engage™, to learn how to move fast with focus and flexibility. In addition to her consulting work, Holly delivers highly acclaimed keynote presentations and workshops. A polished and engaging speaker, Holly has presented to hundreds of audiences around the world. She is one of the highest rated speakers for Vistage, the world’s largest CEO membership group, and has received three Speaker-of-the-Year awards.

Holly holds a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences and a Master of Science degree in organization development from American University in Washington, D.C. She currently serves as an adjunct professor at Webster University, teaching courses in the graduate program. She also teaches in the executive education program at San Diego State University, and is the founder of the Management Development Institute offered there.

Holly’s top selling book, More Than a Minute: How to be an Effective Leader & Manager in Today’s Changing World (printed in nine languages and distributed globally) goes beyond the theory of leading and managing by providing practical, action-oriented information. She writes a column for the Worldwide Association of Business Coaching, and is a highlighted expert on numerous leadership, strategic planning, and innovation blogs. Holly has contributed to two other best-selling books, Shift Happens, and A Cup of Cappuccino, Vol. II.

Holly is a board member of Total Training, Inc. and KBM Facility Solutions, and serves on the Speaker Advisory Board for Vistage International. She is a member of the Corporate Director’s Forum and has served in numerous company and not-for-profit organizations. Holly is a board member of the Chairmen’s Roundtable, a nonprofit organization of senior executives providing pro bono strategic advice to mid-sized businesses, and serves as a mentor in California State University’s Center for Leadership and Mentoring. She also provides strategic advice and guidance to several 501(c)3 organizations.
