Jim Alampi
Jim Alampi is Managing Director and owner of Alampi & Associates LLC. He coaches CEOs, executive teams and Boards of Directors in the areas of strategy, leadership, executive development, and business improvement.
He helped create the proprietary methodology - The Execution Maximizer - that uses best practice tools from such thought leaders as Verne Harnish, Jim Collins and Patrick Lencioni. Alampi is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of e-Chemicals Inc., the industrial chemical industry's first B2B e-commerce distributor and supply chain execution provider. He was formerly Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. (NASDAQ: IAAI), a $325 million provider of total loss vehicle and claims processing services in the United States. He also served as President of Van Waters & Rogers Inc. (the $1.5 billion U.S. industrial chemical distribution subsidiary of Univar Corporation) and Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration for Univar Corporation (NYSE: UVX), the $2.7 billion global distributor of chemicals. He also has led three start up companies, most recently Sales Management Advisors, LLC which helps sales executives and CEOs create exceptional sales without additional reps, cost or risk.
Alampi is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and has been a director and/or chairman of more than 20 for-profit public and private company boards. Alampi served three years as an officer in the U.S. Army and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University.
