Robert Schmidt has served as the President and CEO of three corporations as a subject matter expert in profitability improvement and as a trusted advisor to corporate leaders. Over the past decade, Robert has grown corporate revenues for his clients and companies by hundreds of millions of dollars. His approach to growth is focused on matching market demand with corporate capabilities. As a world recognized leader in growth strategy, Robert possesses the leading tools of innovation as he applies proven principles to everyday challenges in business development.

Robert has a diverse background that has brought him significant exposure in telecommunications, software, professional services, manufacturing and distribution, biotechnology and consumer goods. As a diverse generalist with a focus in sales and marketing, he leverages his broad experience to deliver tangible results regardless of the industry.

Robert holds a BSc in cellular, molecular and microbiology and an MBA (Executive) in New Venture Creation and Business Development from the Haskayne School of Business. He volunteers as a mentor to the Canadian Youth Business Foundation. He has served as Director of the Federation of Calgary Communities and has volunteered in various leadership roles to both corporate and non-profit groups. Robert has been married since 1993 and has two beautiful, young daughters.
